Dragnauct (he/him/his) is a Louisiana-born, former US Army combat medic, father, husband, and graduate student completing his Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology. His thesis is based in the field of biochemistry and involves researching how yeast mutants that mimic known cancers mutations impact enzyme function.

Dragnauct also works as a biochemistry teaching assistant, and occasionally tutors students in biology, chemistry, and biotechnology. He is quite prolific in debunking misinformation on the Internet.
